The Academy is Bytorsskug's pre-eminent academic institution, located in the Academy district (northernmost; nearest Myligast). The same district is also the seat of city government.

A broad institution covering general studies, occupational studies, legal/political studies, magical studies, tower scholarship, and many other disciplines. Scholars study Myligast alongside other fields.

Magical instruction is mostly craft, with elements of science and tradition.
